Refund & Cancellation Policy

We believe in helping our customers as far as possible — and have therefore designed a liberal yet structured cancellation and refund policy. This page explains exactly when refunds are available, how much you can recover, when they aren't, and how to request one.

At ETAXCART, we believe in helping our customers as far as possible, and we have therefore implemented a liberal yet clearly defined cancellation and refund policy. This document explains the conditions under which a cancellation or refund will be considered, the timelines involved, and the circumstances in which a refund cannot be processed.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Any cancellation or refund of fees shall be strictly governed by this Refund Policy, as informed and declared by the Company from time to time.

01Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") sets out the rules governing how cancellations are handled and how refunds — where eligible — are calculated, processed, and disbursed for services purchased through the ETAXCART platform (operated by RAJ-ETAXCART LLP).

This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. In case of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the provisions of the Terms & Conditions shall prevail unless this Policy explicitly states otherwise.

02Scope of Services

This Policy applies to all paid services offered by ETAXCART, including but not limited to:

  • Income Tax Return (ITR) filing — Salary, Capital Gains, Business & Profession, F&O, Crypto, NRI, and Belated returns
  • Business incorporation services — Private Limited, LLP, OPC, Section 8, Partnership, HUF
  • GST registration, returns, annual filing, LUT, notice response, and amendments
  • Registrations and licences — Startup India, Udyam (MSME), FSSAI, IEC, DSC, 12A & 80G
  • Compliance — LLP / Company annual compliance, bookkeeping, audit support, TDS returns, winding-up support
  • Any other professional service offered through the ETAXCART platform

03Service Cancellation Terms

Key Rule

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 2 hours of placing an order, subject to approval by the ETAXCART team and a 20% cancellation charge.

3.1 — Standard Cancellation Window

A cancellation request must be raised within two (2) hours of placing the order. The cancellation, where approved, will be subject to a deduction of 20% as cancellation charges, with the balance refunded as per the Refund Request Process outlined in Section 6 below.

3.2 — Once Work Has Begun

The cancellation request will not be entertained if the order has already been communicated to the operational team and the operations team has initiated the process of assignment. Once work has commenced, ETAXCART will calculate an appropriate amount spent towards usage of man-hours and/or any expenses incurred in relation to the order, and shall retain the same. The remaining amount, if any, shall be refunded in accordance with this Policy.

3.3 — ETAXCART's Right to Refuse Service

ETAXCART reserves the unconditional right to refuse the provision of any service to any person, at any stage of order delivery, without assigning any reasons. In such cases, the refund (if any) shall be calculated in accordance with the work already performed and any expenses already incurred.

Non-Cancellable Orders

Same-Day-Delivery orders cannot be cancelled. Orders placed under the Same-Day-Delivery category are not eligible for cancellation under any circumstances.

3.4 — Promotional & Occasion-Based Offers

Cancellations are not entertained for products or services obtained on special discounts and offers run by the ETAXCART marketing team on occasions such as Holi, New Year, Pongal, Diwali, Independence Day, Foundation Day, and similar limited-occasion campaigns. These are limited-time offers and are therefore non-cancellable.

04Eligibility for Refund

If you are, for any reason, not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund — subject to the conditions of this Policy and any deductions for legal documents already prepared or services already rendered.

What You're Entitled To

If your refund request is made within the 2-hour window after payment and is approved by our team, we will gladly refund 80% of your fees within 4–6 business days via the original payment method, deducting the 20% cancellation charge.

Conditions for Refund Eligibility

  • The cancellation request must be submitted within 2 hours of payment.
  • The order must not yet have been communicated to the operations team or assigned for execution.
  • The service must not fall under the non-refundable categories described in Section 5.
  • The request must be approved by the ETAXCART team in writing (via email).

For services where execution has partially commenced, ETAXCART may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial refund based on the work already performed and any expenses incurred.

05Non-Refundable Services & Circumstances

ETAXCART dedicates its manpower, time, resources, and technology to fulfil each client's requirements. Accordingly, refunds will not be processed in the following circumstances:

  • Offers obtained under any discount or promotional campaigns
  • When execution work has already started
  • Delays, clarifications, or re-submissions required by the MCA, government bodies, or other regulatory authorities
  • Non-availability of documents from the client's end
  • Failure to complete digital onboarding successfully, or any delay thereof due to the client's non-cooperation
  • Any component or portion of a bundled or customised package availed
  • Untimely events such as earthquake, fire, flood, pandemic, or other natural disasters
  • Change of business plans by the client and choosing not to proceed with the chosen service
  • Payments made by the client directly to any third party — including affiliates, vendors, employees, or external professionals
Always Non-Refundable

Government fees, taxes, and third-party processing charges are always non-refundable, irrespective of whether the service is completed or cancelled.

5.1 — Inaccurate or Incomplete Information

If the delay or rejection of a service is due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client, no refund will be issued.

5.2 — Lack of Response Policy

48-Hour Communication Rule

If we do not receive a response to our email, call, or WhatsApp communication for more than 48 hours, the order will be considered cancelled, and no refund will be processed under any circumstances.

Note: The list above is not exclusive. The ETAXCART team will look into each case and decide accordingly, based on the facts and circumstances of the matter.

06Refund Request Process

To request a refund under this Policy, follow these steps:

Email your request

Send an email to contact@etaxcart.com within 2 hours of payment. Use the subject line "Refund Request — [your Order ID]".

Include the required details

In your email, include your full name, the order or reference ID, date of payment, payment amount, and a brief reason for requesting the refund.

Wait for our review

Our team will review your request and confirm whether it qualifies under this Policy. We will respond to you within a reasonable time during business hours.

Refund disbursed to original payment method

If approved, the refund (80% of fees, after the 20% cancellation charge) will be processed within 4–6 business days via the original payment method.

07Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are typically processed within 4 to 6 business days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction (e.g., the card, UPI, or net-banking account).

Once the refund is initiated from our end, the actual time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. ETAXCART is not responsible for any delay caused by the bank, card network, or payment gateway beyond our control.

08Payment Gateway & Transaction Charges

Payments made on the ETAXCART platform are processed by third-party payment gateways. The following points apply:

  • Any payment gateway charges, transaction fees, or processing fees deducted by the payment provider at the time of payment are non-refundable.
  • Statutory charges such as GST and any applicable CCA (Certifying Authority) charges already paid to the relevant authority are also non-refundable.
  • The refunded amount will be the eligible portion of fees minus the 20% cancellation charge and any non-refundable components above.

09Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide our services smoothly and minimise any need for refunds, the client agrees to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information and supporting documents at the time of placing the order.
  • Respond promptly to our communications via email, phone, or WhatsApp — failing which the 48-hour Lack of Response Policy will apply (see Section 5.2).
  • Review the work product (draft return, draft application, draft form, etc.) carefully before approving for submission. The client is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data submitted to government portals.
  • Pay any government fees, statutory charges, or third-party fees directly as required.

10Penalties, Taxes & Outcomes Beyond Our Control

10.1 — Penalties & Tax Payments

Once access to the platform and our service is provided, ETAXCART considers its service obligation fulfilled. The client is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data submitted. ETAXCART will not be responsible for paying any penalties, taxes, or other costs incurred by the client during or after the service. We are not liable for the outcome of, or any additional costs related to, the completion of services.

10.2 — Factors Outside Our Control

We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results for any service, because some factors are beyond our control. For example:

  • Government agencies may reject applications (such as trademark filings, GST registrations, or incorporation forms) for legal or procedural reasons unrelated to ETAXCART's service.
  • Delays may occur due to government backlogs or downtime on official platforms (such as MCA, Income Tax, GSTN, FSSAI, or IP India portals).
  • Services rendered by independent associates or external expert platforms, who are not employed by ETAXCART, are also outside our guarantee or refund coverage.

Any delays or issues caused by the government or external entities cannot be used as a basis for requesting a refund.

11Force Majeure

ETAXCART shall not be held responsible for delays or interruptions in service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquake, fire, flood, storm)
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or public-health emergencies
  • Government actions, regulatory changes, or notifications
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or political disturbance
  • Labour strikes or work stoppages
  • Failure of internet, telecommunications, or payment infrastructure
  • Any other event of force majeure

In such cases, ETAXCART shall not be liable for any delay or inability to fulfil its obligations, and no refund shall be processed on the basis of such force majeure events.

12Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any Service Agreement between you and ETAXCART shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be construed in accordance with the laws thereof.

The Parties agree that any and all disputes arising under or relating to the terms and conditions of this Policy, or to any Service Agreement, shall be fully and completely adjudicated in the courts of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

13Modifications to Policy

ETAXCART reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Website. It is the customer's responsibility to review this Policy periodically.

The version of the Policy in force at the time of your payment shall govern any refund request relating to that payment. Continued use of the Website and our services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
